Thank you

Amma & Appa,

Thank you for the Birthday Card.

Love,
Duncan

Holiday Pageant

The kindergarteners put on a Holiday Pageant last Monday. Xander's class sang "Mamacita" which is a Christmas song I have never heard of, but it is really cute (Mamacita, donde esta Santa Claus). There were TONS of parents there so it was hard to get a good picture.

OOhhh, Christmas Tree

You asked for it Rohit, you got it!

I did not want to put up our big tree this year, so I bought a smaller 4' tree from Michaels - a tree made of silver tinsel. We decorated it with red and white ornaments to match our existing stockings and tree skirt. I wrapped the presents with matching red and silver paper and made red tags with silver snowflakes. I could not find a tree topper that I liked (just the right size and red) so I even made the red star for the top.

I think it looks pretty cool.

Zilker Tree

We visited the Zilker tree and trail of lights last week. It was cold, but not too cold. The boys liked running around, looking at the lights and eating kettle corn. We had to take off one of Duncan's gloves so he could suck his thumb while riding in the stroller - still my baby!

Christmas Gifts

I made headbands for Christmas presents using ribbon and elastic based on some I saw at the Texas Conference for Women. I folded them, tied them with ribbon and added homemade tags and charms.

Crafting Queen

This is a present from my Mom. Does it look like me? Green hair? I hung it in my craft room next to my computer so I could see it every day.

Precious Locket

I had to scan a family picture for Xander's school so I decided to also scan my Christmas card and some pictures for this locket. I had to scan the pictures so I could shrink them to make them fit in the tiny locket (if I was thinking I should have taken the picture with a coin for reference). I got this locket when I was the flower girl for my Aunt's wedding when I was, like 6 years old. I put a tiny picture of each boy inside. Soooo cute, especially Duncan sucking his thumb.

What do I do? Thanks for asking!

This commercial just cracks me up. I just repeat "What do I do? Thanks for asking!" all the time. It really ticks Duncan off! :)
