New Quilt

For his birthday, Grandma made Xander a new full-size quilt to replace the one that fit his crib. He loves his new big-kid quilt for his big-kid bed.

We just got back from surprising Appa on his 60th birthday (pictures to follow), but a funny anecdote about the trip home. We asked the concierge at the hotel to arrange a car for transport to the airport. We were impatiently waiting for our pickup when a stretch Escalade pulls up. We thought, "Great, someone else's car is here, where's ours?"

It turns out that they ran out of sedans and had to send the limo. It was truly a pimp-mobile complete with leopard-print upholstery and neon lights.
